Life without LOVE? What's the point? Make great music, speak the mysteries of God, do great deeds of faith, give your life away in sacrifice-- but if during it all, you don't have LOVE in your relationships with others, all your triumphant works will haunt you with an emptiness in your soul!!
So Jesus came to warn us of this desperate fate: HE showed us and gave us HIS LOVE, to be received and lived out if real life relationships with one another, by faith and obedience to His example. Let it be so.
